Make CIC is continuing to do the best we can, following the advice available from the government as it becomes available.
It is our intention for all of Make CIC’s buildings to remain open for residents, if it’s essential that they must use the facilities. This will be with strict adherence to social distancing practices and heightened hygiene protocols. Our facilities offer the opportunity for people to work in near-isolation, but encourage residents to monitor government advice closely about leaving your home. Do not use common areas during this time and no member of the public should attend the building.
It is absolutely essential that anyone who experiences the listed symptoms, or has been in contact with someone with those symptoms, does not enter any of Make CIC’s buildings.
As of Friday 20th March we will be closing Riccardo’s cafe at Make North Docks.
As of immediate effect, Make CIC will postpone and rearrange all classes and events due to take place in March and April. We ask those who were booked on a class to please consider the impact this is having on our community of freelancers and creatives. We encourage all ticket holders to not opt for a refund and to work with us to find suitable dates to transfer tickets to in the future.
We want everyone to know we are taking the current outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) very seriously and will be working with our community of residents, members and partners to ensure that Make is not cancelled, it’s just postponed!
Stay safe, follow official advice and look out for each other.
