With over 40% of the global workforce expected to be freelance, independent contractors or solopreneurs by 2020 – co-working spaces have never been in such high demand.
According to a recent global survey, 90% of co-workers feel more confident when working in a shared environment; 68% have reported that they are able to focus better; and 70% have felt healthier than they did in a traditional office setting… Maybe it’s time to join the co-working revolution.
Make Liverpool is one of the city’s leading co-working communities, offering a flexible range of workspace options across its two locations – Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, and the city’s North Docks. Spaces to foster creative collaboration, our kaleidoscopic community of makers and doers is made up of digital and creative businesses, working alongside artists and crafters at all stages of their business lives.
There’s a real sense of community at Make Liverpool, and we actively encourage and support interaction between our residents; helping them to tap into networks that would be unavailable to them, ordinarily.
Flexibility. Inclusivity. Community. The beauty of co-working is in the random opportunities that can be created through close collaboration with likeminded people.
Come and join us.
Nestled in the heart of Liverpool’s digital and creative district – the Baltic Triangle – Make Baltic is a vibrant, open-plan co-working space, located in the bustling Elevator Studios. A beautifully-restored industrial warehouse, Elevator Studios is home to a diverse range of creative businesses and recording studios; as well as the Baltic Social – the ground floor bar and restaurant, which regularly plays host to 90s-disco and David Bowie themed nights, and offers a 10% discount to Make Baltic residents.
A large open-plan warehouse floor, divided into individual spaces of varying sizes, Make Baltic invites its residents to make themselves at home in their space; to leave their own individual mark. Taking centre stage in the studio space is the communal breakout area and kitchen; the epicentre of activity in Make Baltic, residents meet here for lunch, crafting and general chit-chat.
Nicknamed the ‘incubator’, our meeting space is light and airy, and is ideal for meetings, classes, workshops, photoshoots and more. Utilised for free by our residents, our self-contained incubator space can also be hired externally, and comes equipped with a projector, a whiteboard and tea and coffee making facilities.
With free superfast broadband; communal printing and scanning facilities; and a secure postal address for delivery and collection, Make Baltic is accessible 24 hours a day with business parking permits available for those travelling by car.
Make North Docks stands proudly on the city’s historic ‘North Shore’. An area famous for being the centre of Liverpool’s commercial industry for centuries, the north docks were designated World Heritage status in 2004, and are now home to a thriving creative community.

With 24-hour access, on street parking, and a small car park, Make North Docks is perfect for anyone after autonomy and flexibility when it comes to their working environment. Residents can also take advantage of the superfast broadband, and are designated a secure postal address for collections and deliveries.
